I talked to someone with the Multnomah County Library this weekend at the Zine Symposium, and learned that the local library system is going to be adding a significant zine library to their regular collection - so zines will be available to be viewed and (I believe) checked out from local branches, which is just awesome!
So, they'll be hosting a number of events, they call it their 'Zinesters Talking' program, featuring zine publishers reading from their zines at the Central and North Portland branches during the month of October. The calendar features a number of zinesters, including Stumptown exhibitors Jesse Reklaw, Sean Bieri, and Aaron Renier!
