Calling Portland, OR his home, colorist Bill Crabtree first gained acclaim at Image Comics where he colored for the break-away hit Invincible. A 50 issue tenure that earned Crabtree a Harvey award nomination for coloring. Moving to Oni Press, Crabtree would partner with artist Brian Hurtt and color for the fan favorite series The Sixth Gun, recently optioned by NBC as a live-action television series. While at Oni Press, his work on The Sixth Gun earned Crabtree an Eisner award nomination for coloring.
