2013 Stumptown Comics Fest Guest Profile - Ales Kot

Every Wednesday, join us as we highlight and celebrate a guest for the 2013 Stumptown Comics Festival. This week we turn our attention to Ales Kot.

Ales Kot is the writer of the critically acclaimed short graphic novel Wild Children with art by Riley Rossmo (Cowboy Ninja Viking), as well as the new series Change with art by Morgan Jeske (also appearing at the 2013 Stumptown Comics Festival). Kot was recently named "Best New Creator of 2012" by USA Today, and announced two new projects with Image Comics coming in 2013 - Zero, which will feature a different artist on each issue, and The Surface with Langdon Foss (Get Jiro). His upcoming short with DC Comics titled Batman: Fly will feature art by Ryan Sook (Zatanna, X-Factor, B.P.R.D.).
